FIELD TRIPS:
Friday - Richardson's Ranch - Thundereggs
Saturday - McDonald's Ranch - Wood/Eggs/Angelwing
Sunday - White Fir Springs - Thundereggs
Field trips are free, but there is a one time membership fee of $10 for the Prineville Rockhound Pow Wow good for the whole family. The field trips leave at 7:30am at the Crook County Fairgrounds in front of the Pow Wow trailer by Carey Foster Hall. Sign up sheets and membership applications are handled at the Pow Wow trailer. The trips usually last until 2 - 2:30 pm, so you will want to bring water to drink, sack lunch and snacks, shovel, digging tools and something to put your treasures in. Remember sunscreen, hat, good hiking shoes, etc.
PUBLIC AUCTION ON SATURDAY EVENING AT 7pm
Oregon's premier rock and Gem show hosted in the heart of Oregon's Rockhound country: Prineville, Oregon. Come early for the show and dig trips to take advantage of all of the agate, jasper, limbcast and petrified wood digging all within easy reach of town. Hampton Butte, Eagle Rock, Pink Limbcasts, Rim Jasper, Ochoco Thundereggs, Judy Elkins Rock Shop, Quants Rock Shop, Richardson's Ranch and much more can easily turn this rockhound pow wow into a vacation dig trip and gem show of a lifetime!!!
